Ben Fowlkes has been a sportswriter for over 15 years, writing for outlets such as USA Today, The Athletic, Sports Illustrated and others. He currently covers MMA and boxing for Yahoo Sports, writes about sports gambling for Legal Sports Report, and co-hosts the Co-Main Event Podcast. He’s also a fiction writer whose work has appeared in Best American Short Stories, among other places. He received an MFA in creative writing from the University of Montana in 2006. He lives in Missoula with his two daughters.
